The eight-week starter offer is limited to selected states.
We checked Alegro Health’s public program and billing information on September 20, 2026. This review separates published terms from details that still require a personal quote; availability and offers can change.
The quick read
- The eight-week starter offer is limited to selected states.
- The current site advertises an eight-week semaglutide-with-B12 starter for $199 in selected states. It does not establish the ongoing price after that starter package or clearly itemize every possible laboratory, appointment and delivery charge. Alegro says it does not accept insurance, although it can provide an itemized receipt.
- Does the $199 eight-week starter apply in my state, what does it include, and what will the next supply and follow-up cost?
The care model
Alegro Health describes weight-management care through virtual appointments and its McKinney, Texas clinic. The program asks prospective patients to select their state, and prescriptions depend on clinician judgment. Its FAQ lists several medication approaches, so a consultation should not be treated as a guarantee of a particular GLP-1 prescription.
Published price and what it covers

Compare the amount due today and the recurring charge over the same period. Include care, medication, laboratory work and shipping wherever they are separate. Our GLP-1 cost guide explains that calculation.
Renewal, cancellation and open questions
The FAQ requires at least 24 hours of appointment-cancellation notice; later cancellations and missed visits can incur a $50 fee. It says rendered services and products are not refundable and dispensed medication cannot be returned. The starter offer does not publish a complete automatic-renewal or refill schedule.
What matters when comparing this service
Check eligibility for the advertised state-specific offer before comparing its eight-week cost with a monthly subscription. Ask which initial services are included, what later visits cost and how refills are requested. A receipt for an insurance submission is not a guarantee that the insurer will reimburse a cash-pay purchase.
A question to take to the provider
Does the $199 eight-week starter apply in my state, what does it include, and what will the next supply and follow-up cost?
Ask who prescribes, which pharmacy dispenses, and how to contact the clinical team between appointments. Request the payment and cancellation terms in writing. Our provider verification guide can help you check those responsibilities before paying.
Evidence and another useful comparison
This is research into public offers, not a patient-experience review. We have not enrolled, received treatment or independently measured service quality. Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved, and evidence for an approved product does not automatically establish equivalent results for another formulation. Read our formulation guide and discuss suitability with a licensed clinician.
For another care or payment model, see our California Trim Clinic review. You can also search the provider directory. The CoreAge Rx review covers our featured commercial partner; that placement does not establish clinical superiority.
