The change that matters
The company announced a shift toward a wider selection of FDA-approved GLP-1 medicines through an agreement with Novo Nordisk. It said compounded access was anticipated for a limited set of patients whose needs could not be met by commercially available approved options, when a provider determined it clinically necessary.
What this means when shopping
Ask the current enrollment flow to identify the exact product, route, and brand. If a search result mentions a compounded program, check its publication date and follow through to the current provider information. The ability to find an old support article is not proof that the same product is offered to new patients.
Compare the full payment commitment

Oral and injectable products are different
Do not infer equivalence between an oral compounded preparation and an approved semaglutide pill or injection. The exact delivery system and supporting evidence matter. Read the product-specific prescribing information and ask the clinician what is being prescribed before selecting a plan.
