Assessment, program and medication have separate charges.

We checked Modern Age’s public program and billing information on September 20, 2026. This review separates published terms from details that still require a personal quote; availability and offers can change.

The quick read

  • Assessment, program and medication have separate charges.
  • The weight-loss page lists a $500 Aging Wellness Assessment followed by an additional $500 six-month Optimization Program. Medication is excluded. The page also contains broad historical pharmacy estimates, which we do not treat as a current personal quote. Ask the dispensing pharmacy and insurer for today’s prescription price.
  • Is this six-month weight-loss offer currently available, and which visits, refund rules and pharmacy charges apply to my enrollment?

The care model

Modern Age’s public pages describe weight management within a broader wellness assessment and optimization program. The weight-loss page describes laboratory evaluation, clinician support and prescription coordination. Confirm current appointment availability and the treating practice directly; a readable marketing page does not independently establish that a specific appointment is available.

Published price and what it covers

The weight-loss page lists a $500 Aging Wellness Assessment followed by an additional $500 six-month Optimization Program. Medication is excluded. The page also contains broad historical pharmacy estimates, which we do not treat as a current personal quote. Ask the dispensing pharmacy and insurer for today’s prescription price.

Compare the amount due today and the recurring charge over the same period. Include care, medication, laboratory work and shipping wherever they are separate. Our GLP-1 cost guide explains that calculation.

Renewal, cancellation and open questions

The weight-loss page says its program can be refunded until the first GLP-1 or metformin prescription is purchased from the partner pharmacy. After that purchase, it excludes refunds for medication cost, side effects or other reasons. This wording does not establish that the separate assessment fee is refundable.

What matters when comparing this service

The weight-loss page promises monthly short follow-ups, while the general FAQ describes a different set of optimization-program visits. Ask which schedule applies to weight care. Also separate insurance assistance for prescriptions from coverage of Modern Age’s assessment and program fees, which should not be assumed to be insured.

A question to take to the provider

Is this six-month weight-loss offer currently available, and which visits, refund rules and pharmacy charges apply to my enrollment?

Ask who prescribes, which pharmacy dispenses, and how to contact the clinical team between appointments. Request the payment and cancellation terms in writing. Our provider verification guide can help you check those responsibilities before paying.

Evidence and another useful comparison

This is research into public offers, not a patient-experience review. We have not enrolled, received treatment or independently measured service quality. Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved, and evidence for an approved product does not automatically establish equivalent results for another formulation. Read our formulation guide and discuss suitability with a licensed clinician.

For another care or payment model, see our Alloy review. You can also search the provider directory. The CoreAge Rx review covers our featured commercial partner; that placement does not establish clinical superiority.
